my acd pump needs to be repaired. i don't want to replace of course because of the cost. i live in nyc. suggestions please. i am selling my car (05 mr, apex silver) and really don't want to spend too much on it. thanks!

 

How bad is it? Does the motor run if you do the pedal trick. You can try rebuilding it yourself or sending it to a shop. I know some people are using a guy called Kompass on here and some shops in Canada and the west coast do this. I purchased the rebuild kit from Kikiturbo and rebuilt mine with a friend. It was not terribly hard but you definitely need some mechanical skills to do it alone.
