rod bolts in car
I've been reading and searching this for a while now, and there are mixed reviews. Doing rod bolts seems to be a good idea to me, and apparently Buschur.

Are the ARP rod bolts capable of being done while the engine is in the car? Or is it just not worth the trouble? I've got the stretch gauge and all the only thing I'm worried about is getting one out and the ARP's not seating? Or the rod needing machining?

Has anyone done this and have input? I've read a few threads on here but they are all so old.
Thanks

It's not worth the time, the clamping forces with the bolts will cause issues unless you take the head off and pull the rods out to have them honed to be perfectly round with the bolts torqued to spec.
