I'm guessing all you need to do is add power to the wires that control the folding and it should take care of everything else.

How many wires are on the Evo 7 mirrors? 6?

There is 7 wires on the jdm mirrors. Im sure 3 of them wire to the usdm 3 wires but have no clue where the others wire to. I didnt bother with the etacs unit cause having the button fold them is fine with me. I know people have had success with wiring them. Im just waiting for them to chime in

Get out the multimeter and start testing. Finding a wiring diagram for a JDM evo isn't too hard and they have everything labeled in there for you so you know which wires you'll need

Or send them to me and I'll write-up something

So I glanced through this; it appears the mirrors are hooked up to the main wiring chassis of the car and have no controller of their own (on the mirror switch). The ETACS handles all of the controlling of the mirrors folding.

Easiest way would be to hook up a small logic board that tells the mirrors to fold or unfold based on position when the button is pressed, but it's going to be an undertaking if you're not familiar with electronics or logic boards at all

Good luck!
