Production date / Decode VIN?
Production date / Decode VIN?
Hi guys
I picked up an 1993 Evo 1 in a business deal. I'm in Canada - the car was imported from Japan some time ago and has 129000 original KMs on it (81000 miles).
Does anyone know how I can find the exact production date on it? The decals are all in Japanese...
The VIN on the chassis is as follows: CD9A0005680
Why if the VIN at the 5680 mark? I understood only 5000 of these cars were built.
How do I decode the VIN? All the decoders I have found all need 17 digits.
I'm attaching a pic of the firewall ID plate.
I'm looking to sell it.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks
