Help with Battery/Alternator Kill Switch

Good evening all!

I recently purchased/installed this kill switch because of a battery relocation I had to do. I just want this to work right, and curious what you all have to say about this diagram? Looking at it, it seems that the second option on the page is how to install it, but I want to make sure I do this correctly. Thanks!

I guess my line of thought is obviously interrupting the field wire, but it's also connected to that distribution block, so I'm a bit confused as to what I should do.
