Not to savvy when it comes to turbos so any and all help needed. The turbine housing on my Evo 9 has a messed up thread. It was recommended to helicoil the thread but the machine shop wants the turbine housing out of the car of course. The Turbine housing connected in 3 places from my understanding to the manifold which is already off, to the turbo, and to the o2 housing. My question is can the Turbine Housing be removed from the car without having to disconnect the 02 housing/turbo from the car? Or do I have to disconnect all 3 together and pull all 3 out just to get the turbine housing off? TYIA for any and all help!
