hey guys so I just recently purchase a 2003 evo 8 gsr and its stock and ecu on the car is stock, I'm trying to read the ecu with ecu flash and it keeps saying error occured when at 14%. I dont know if it it is my cable that is bad or is the stock ecu locked from the factory. The ecu is not tuned. here are some images of what happened

 

I can't read anything in your pictures due to the low resolution and poor focus of the camera. Post a screen shot from the laptop.

 

turned out the cable had to be wiggled to get it to read, was able to read it and found it is 100% stock
