Read ECU - CEL

I was testing Ecu Flash and decided to read my ECU. ECU flash read the ECU and I save the stock settings and then did nothing further, had to go to work.
On my way to work I notice Check Engine Ligt is now lit, is that supposed to be lit after reading the ECU? or will it reset itself after I flash the ECU?

Hey man, I'm trying to get a Read on my RA using ECU flash, the application keeps erroring out when I use the 2006+ Mitsu CAN. Did you have this problem, I'm also using the cable from my Buddy's evo 9.

What options did you select when you read yours?

I used the 06+Mitsu Can and had no problem. Did you download ECU Flash 1.42 and Open port 2.0 cable.

Did you turn on your ignition prior to read?

yeah, I figured it out, took some digging but I finally found that the 1.3 cable does not work on the EVO X/Ralliart platforms. looks like I can't cheat and use my buddy's cable that he has for his 9 - oh well, it was a good thought.
