Torque Solutions solid bushings installed on a 2006 Mitsubishi Evolution IX shifter base. •Remove cotter pin from shifter cable. •Pull shifter cable off and push under and around the mounting point to gain access to the forward left 10mm bolt. •Remove all four 10mm bolts. •Use 8mm socket to press out the metal inserts from the oem rubber bushings. •Use a screwdriver, awl, or pick to remove the rubber bushings. •Install the solid bushings on top and bottom of the shifter cage with the recessed sides facing each other. •Install the four 10mm bolts and torque to 102+22 in lbs. •Put the shifter cable back on its mount and secure it with the cotter pin. •Enjoy your new shifter feel.
