What happened last yr? Alot of people were let down!

Are no more NOPI Chicks?

You guys thinking of coming back?

 

The NOPI Motorsports company had 8 events last year. All 8 had forcasts of rain for both days heading into the weekends. Also, with the onset of the economic decline, it was decided that to keep on going with the events was not a good business decision after such huge setbacks.

As you might imagine, the economy has affected all aspects of the Automotive aftermarket and it's still too soon to say want the future will hold for the event series.

Right now the focus is on NOPI - the parts company. We are still here and have been for 43 years.

 

I was really dissapointed when I saw NOPI had cancelled all the events. This was the show I looked foward to every year! It is a fairly close show that always had a good turnout!

If you guys do bring the shows back. Bring back the drag racing!!! Drifting is cool and all, but I think you guys had better shows with the drag racing. St. Louis didnt have it for the last two years!

they are going back to their roots which is selling import parts.

 

so if the economy climbs will nopi return to the tracks again for events because the local dragracing events at my track suck compared to yours

 

I hope so but I cannot say for sure at the moment.

 

That's great to hear. Always a good step.


However Nopi Nationals was a big part of the car scene and many looked forward to it, and I'd go every year as well. Hope it comes back soon.
