I've been told by 2 local/professional performance shops that Eagle and/or Manley H-beam rods are good for 200bhp each rod....so 800 crank hp would be a "safe to say" limit?

The regular H beams i would feel comfortable making about 650whp, not that they wouldnt hold more...but im speaking in terms of reliability. any more than that i would want to either step to the H beam plus rods or the I beams.

yeah...800 crank hp would be close to 650ish WHP...so i would say yes. But i would have more faith in the Manleys over the eagles. Made in USA FTW.

I'm interested in the H-beam "plus" rods as well...where can I find more about them? I'm going with Manley rods...just gotta decide which piston to go with.

The H beam PLUS rods are just the standard H beam with the ARP 625 rod bolts. that makes them 800hp+ capable rods and cheaper than the I beams. PM me for more details, we have a few sets on the shelf still.
