It's Motor Week @ Slowboy Racing!

Hey everyone,

I hope you all had a great weekend. We wanted to dedicate this week to our machine shop and showing everyone what we do and how we do it! You'll see tons of great pics, videos and posts about engines that we can build, are building and have built! If you've got an SBR head or short block, shoot me an email and we can post up some of your pics, too!

Our state of the art machine shop offers the best in equipment, expertise and experience. Our machinist have been building motors since before a lot of us were even born. ROFL :applause:

Our machine shop builds hundreds of Mitsu, Subaru, Nissan and Toyota engines every year! We have build engines for the street cars, drag cars, rally cars and even air planes!

Check out just one quick charting of an EVO 2.4L Short Block that we build last week!

Manley Rods, Wiseco Pistons and ACL Race Bearings make for one great combination!!!!!!

The blue dots indicate that inspection and proper torque procedures have been done and checked!

Assembled short block.

Short Block is placed on the wooden frame and ready to be crated!

We put a lot of care and effort into carefully crating these engines. They are strapped down and secured.

what does the 2.4 water pump hit that causes you to have to runa 2.0 water pump with adaptor? What else is needed to put the 2.4 in the Evo other than that?

It's spacing to properly align the pulley with the belt.

You need a head gasket, adjustable cam gears and a 4g64 belt.

Proly not the place to post this, but hopefully I can get the answer Im looking for.

What keeps a person from using the 2.4 water pump? What degree's do you have to adjust the cams to? (or is it a setup that each has to be degree'ed, and there isnt a "base" setting?)

Stock 2.4 head gasket works?
