Do you have to remove the entire splitter to get to your oil filter when doing oil changes?

Also, how fast have you gone with this thing installed, or fastest speed you have maintained with it installed.
Thanks
we stopped selling the VR splitters. anyways they are about the same. you can exceed wild speed with the splitter it will not fall out.

Bump for previous question - Does it work with BuschurRacing's Intercooler?

From the look you will have to remove this thingy to change your oil.

The metal rods' idea is NOT to let the lip flex. You would defeat the purpose of this item if you use a mini-shock, letting the lip flex. Even worse, at high speed, the lip could catch and rip your entire lower bumper off. Mini-shock I think here is not a good idea.

VividRacing: How can we get the $259+shipping price? Your site lists it for $279+shipping.

Not a bad price. Are those aluminum rods necessary or just for looks? I'd feel a little uncomfortable drilling my precious bumper.

those rods are adjustable so you can angle the splitter down if you choose so. You will need to drill holes for those rods too.
