Anyhow, no offence taken! This knob was definitely inspired by ARC but we've put our own take on it.

It's much larger than the ARC knob - a much better fit for US hands. Also, each knob is individually burned so no two knobs will look the same.

One thing that remains the same though is the use of the highest quality materials. Full TITANIUM, nice counterweight, and most of all....GOOD PRICE

2 questions.

1. you said its a bit bigger than the ARC knob, would you be able to take a comparison pic of both knobs? I have the ARC and it is a bit small...

2. just outta curiosity, isn't titanium a very light material, so how do you make a counterweight knob out of it?

and lastly, like hueman said, if i didn't already have the ARC, i'd jump all over this one

That shouldn't be a problem. I'll see if I can get that today.

Well, the burned appearance is not really a painted "finish" per se. It is the natural color of the titanium when it is exposed to heat - hence the "burned" finish.

I'm sure if you took a belt sander to it it would scratch but it's pretty resiliant.

Ti is very light for it's strength. Slightly heavier than aluminium, but approx as strong as steel. This all varies with the specific alloy...
