Yeah Ray, I think it's much needed, so I'm going out on a limb to get it, but I'm sure it'll be well worth it . It's nice to see pics of a product, but it's nicer to see it used on the same application we'll use it ie "a EVO"

Okay guys, just to let you know I didn't forget about you guys and the shift boot are here in my hands

It looks really good to be honest , better then what I have expected!! I have seen other shift boots before, but this one has no strings hanging everywhere and it's clean all the way from top to bottom. the weave on it looks like a 2x2 carbon fiber, but it's just the way it was stitched. I took a couple of pics so you guys can see what I'm talking about. I apologize if the photo's are to big for some people.






I will be installing this next week in the EVO, but before I do, I will match it up to EVODave’s CF votex generator, Rexpeed CF, and Seibon CF. I have all 3 on my car, so I can help you guys see just how good or bad it will compare next to real Carbon fiber, but I must admit, it’s going to match pretty nicely I’m guessing…

I promise I have not forgotten, but I'm in the Army reserves and I had to leave the state. I got back home today and Monday will be the install date for sure, so just a heads up, Rico didn't forget about anything! Just a little tied up is all

 

The shift boot was sent to Mitsutech56 who's the builder of my car, also a platinum Mitsu's mechanic. He is going to do a really detailed install of it with a very good camera and will update you guys as well. For those that go to the THE OFFICIAL 2008 Southeast Regional DSM/EVO Meet My car will be there and you are more then welcomed to see it in person in my car.
