Steering Column Gauge Pod!
A-pillar gauge mounts are easy, but they have some drawbacks. The appearance isn't for everyone, and they don't fit 60mm gauges. Now there's another option...

This new pod replaces the plastic top half of the steering column, and holds two gauges on pivoting ball-and-socket joints. Yes, they will partially obscure the gauge cluster, but with careful adjustment this can be minimized, and the result is a very clean, factory-looking install that can't be easily seen from outside the car.
The pods come in two varieties. The Universal one fits 60mm or 52mm gauges.

The 52mm one is for that size gauge only.

The fit and finish and level of thoroughness on the design of these pods is better than any I've seen. They're absolutely perfect in terms of fit. The color is a very close match, and even the texture is correct.
The obstruction looks worse in the picture than it really is. Since you have two eyeballs, but the camera only has one, the driver can see around the gauges a bit more than the photo shows. With the 52mm ones, I was able to arrange them so the only thing obscured was the 160-mph section of the speedo (I don't personally use that part), and the black area on the tach. With the 60mm one, I ended up blocking the gas gauge, but as long as I can see the trip odometer hit "200," I always know when to fill up.

Sorry, I'm not going to take an infinite variety of pictures of this; you can get an idea of what it looks like from the two pics above. Keep in mind that the camera is monocular, but you have binocular vision -- your two eyes can see more than what the camera's single lens sees, so the pictures are sort of worst-case.
