Simple to install: 2 bolts and unplug the stock one. Reverse to put the new one in.

Reads in kilometers.

It will reset your mileage.

If you mean the red light for Tarmac or something, it doesn't come on.

Direct bolt on - yes.

Looks great..but Just for references... Should you do this on your own your car will be True Mileage Unknown. If you don't disclose this at the time of your sale, and take the 1-2K hit on value, your can be sued and have to buy the vehicle back. It's a major PITA. Dealers steer straight away from branded titles at the auctions.

Im curious on how anyone would know if at the time of sale you put the stock odmeter and then sold. Im sure the amount of miles stays on the odometer and doesnt reset.

Perhaps they won't know. But not only is it unethical, its illegal. As I mentioned above in the "sue" part. Since we're legal we haven't had to deal with odo problems, although we have had to buy vehicles back due to title problems.

....we had a customer of ours pick up a cluster and then sold it along with his factory one. That's as honest as it'll get -- you know. I don't know how that will hold up in a court of law, however, by doing it this way, it's not like you were attempting to do fraud.

No, it'll stay wherever it was at before you took it out.

The ECU does not hold the mileage the cluster does. whatever the mileage was when you took it out it will be the same when you put it back in .
