a few questions

how much boost can it handle?
How does it sound like the type-s?

It uses the same type s flange

Type s had a 37mm valve this RS has a 40mm valve. Type s would hold right around 400hp. I would imagine the RS will hold a bit more.

The sound is very similar to the Type s

Also, the pic does not show it recirculating (VTA), does it come with 2 different outlets (the pictured anodized piece and a recirc attachment?)
Nevermind that question:

"The Type-RS features optional discharge adapters for rerouting discharged air."

This is just a good Universal blow off valve. I am not sure at the moment if they will make a kit for the EvoVIII. I would imagine they would just like they did for the type s.

Do we only get the blue anodized 8-hole piece? Or is a recirc-type adaptor also included?

I got one today. To clear this up, this bov DOES NOT come with a recirculation fitting, it comes with the blue anodized VTA fitting in the picture.

The recirc piece needs to be ordered and the adaptor to bolt the bov into the stk i/c piping.

Haven't installed it yet because I'm waiting for the adapter to put in the stk i/c piping and the recirc piece to also bolt it in the stk intake hose.

So for those who are buying this bov, make sure you order both adapters.

Sorry for hijacking this thread.
