Eh the short kit is for cars with a turbo near the firewall.. so this won't work in my evo?

No it is specifically designed for the evo. Comes with instructions also.

Got mine installed yesterday.. that was some quick shipping. Only problem I had was drilling into the brake booster like an idiot.

Left you some feedback hope you do the same!
