The Type-S frame is made of durable cast and billet aluminum and the valve-to-diaphram ratio provides performance that less expensive piston type BOVs can not offer. The Type-S adjusts in seconds with the simple turn of the adjustment screw. It has a loud whistle sound on blow-off and is extremely dependable, making it one of the most popular BOVs available. Combined with this machined flange, installation is truly bolt-on with no welding required.
