We have not tested the Dejon Tool and can not compare it performance-wise. Two observations... the Dejon Tool seems to have a knurled hand "locknut" that would have to be tightened to hold the set adjustment, and the appearance is much different (obviously a subjective issue as to which is better looking). Again, we have not tested the Dejon Tool and have never heard anything negative about it.
The Turbosmart compares well to the Hallman - both perform in an excellent manner. A couple differences (again this one is subjective) the Hallman Pro Line controllers are the nicest looking MBCs we have ever seen. Beautiful aesthetic design (the Turbosmart is no slouch in the looks department though). Neither require setting a locknut - the Hallman uses o-rings, holding your adjustment by "tension", while the Turbosmart has a "detent system"... the adjuster clicks as you turn it and it stays put when you let go and you may optionally lock it in place (to "prevent tampering" as Turbosmart says).
The Hallman Pro Line allows for upgrading to inside-the-cockpit adjustability with the Patented Hallman Cockpit Controller Add-On Kit, while the Turbosmart does not have such an option.
Both are excellent controllers with the price difference reflecting differences in appearance and features, IMHO.
Please call or email if I have have not answered your question.... we do not get much opportunity to get online to respond in the forums. Thanks!
