not sure how many cfm's the stock fans move......generally speaking, not nearly as much as the FAL units in my experience.

I am needing cams, but not clear on issues will have. Can you help?
On ReFlash, can I run the 280/280 and still drive on street? I mostly drive my EVO MR 90% for track events only, but love to cruise every now and then. It's a weekend car for street but mainly used for open track events. Does the 280/280 set up rob me of auto-x power at the low end? I auto-x car 20% of the time, but prefer to build it for open track events.
Some have said the 264/272 is works best? I have read idleing issues with the 280/280? Any help appreciated. Again, I am running a Re-Flash and would have another RE-Flash after cam purchase, but don't know enough about cams and which ones I should use. Thanks.

Driv - yes you can run the 280's on the street...the main issue is due to the duration, the idle will be quite lopey. In my opinion, these are not the cams to run with a stock turbo. The higher the duration, the more the power band gets pushed up in the rev range, all other things being equal.
The difference in peak power between a 264/264, 264/272 and straight 272's on a stock turbo equipped car is not all that much - maybe a few peak ponies difference. The bigger duration cams really begin to shine with higher than avg boost levels (ie more boost than you are likely to run on a flashed car), or with bigger turbos. If it were my own car, given your usage and the fact that you are not tuning the setup yourself, I would go 264/272 - it gives you a nice smooth idle, and a very broad power band on a stock turbo car. Plus, if you do go bigger in the future on the turbo, you'll have an exhaust cam that can really make use of things.
Any questions, let me know
