Save your center diff! The AWD Tow Decal

Everyone knows you can't tow an AWD car using a conventional two-wheel tow truck. Right? Well, according to our customers, many tow truck operators don't seem to know. This decal is meant as simple insurance. We don't guarantee results, but it can't hurt.

That's a good idea, dan. I had my car towed once and was explaining for 10 minutes to the company why my "Lancer" needed a flatbed

good idea, where do you put your decal? I never let anyone tow any of our cars with anything except a flatbed, I'd rather pay extra if I have to....unless the city decides to tow me away

I'd suggest right above the VIN plate. They tow truck driver usually has to take down the VIN.

Great idea!!! i had my car towed once and the driver thought it was fwd and just lifted the front wheels, well you can guess what happened next....the car was dragged half a block until he realized it! i did not know until a friend of mine told me because he saw it. everything has been ok so far, but i wish that it did not happen. you guys come up with the best decals!! you should see how much attention my, caution: this car is equipped with a turbo charger....., gets!

Agreed, that sticker is a great idea. My car is in the shop for being towed like a fwd car. My whole transfer case blew up to the tune of $6,000-$9000. The whole car looked like it blew up as there was dripping tranny fluid and smoke everywhere. There was also a three foot skid mark on the asphalt as my rear wheels locked up.

The tow truck company is now paying to have my car fixed and I'm driving a Kia Rio as a rental.

Is there any way you can get the decal made with an evo in the picture?

We ship UPS because that's what our customers like. It's trackable and insured. If you just order more things on your order, the shipping won't be so high compared to your order size.

If you really just want the decal, though, and you want us to send it US Postal Service, simply note that in the "Comments" field on your order. Write this: "Send USPS for $1." It'll just be $1, and we'll drop it in a normal US Mail envelope. Keep in mind that that kind of shipping is NOT insured or trackable, so if it gets lost or mangled, you'll just have to order a new one.

Okay?

I feel so cheap now, cause I went the $1 route But I have faith in the USPS, so I think it'll be okay.

I got my sticker -- via $1 USPS shipping, and it looks great! Thanks Dan for your help.
