The APS Bov is one of the best on the market. It is for the consumer that wants their car to run well from day to day but still wants the Blow off valve sound. It uses a twin port set-up where most of the air is re-routed back into the intake like the stock system but still releases a small amount into the atmosphere.

Just wanted to post on great this seller is. My blowoff valve was shipped the same day after I placed my order, and arrived shortly after. I even got a tracking number. I was very impressed with the price and the service. I installed the BOV in no time at all, and it works great. Idle is great, sounds like stock, but once you open up the RPM's, this thing sounds great. I would recommend the APS BOV to anyone looking to replace the cheap plastic BOV. My boost holds 20 PSI all the way to redline, and doesn't taper off like it would before. Thanks again, and I'll be back if you have any more good deals.

RSD and APS are both great companies. I put my valve on last week. It took me a few minutes because the engine was HOT and was trying very hard to avoid touching the exhaust manifold. I would recommend waiting till the engine is cool....haha. But if the UPS truck shows up right as you get home from work and you are obsessed like I know you are (or you wouldn't own an EVO), then be careful. This thing sounds great and the car just "feels" better. It is as loud at 3k RPM as 6k. It just makes sound when you are accelerating and the turbo begins to spool. When you hear the turbo whistle you know you will hear the vavle as soon as you let off the gas quick or shift. I can't wait to get my MBC and a tune so I can throw more boost at this thing.

I just ordered mine, about how long will it take to ship from Utah to Illinois. I am getting tuned on 9/24, will I have it by then?

It took 4 days for mine, it shipped on a Monday, and I got it Friday. Sounds like you should be OK....

Yes you should not hear it open while boost is still building. I am guessing your vaccum line is pinched.
This valve holds boost great. I have not had a customer complain about this vavle leaking. And many of them are running very high boost.
