167.50 -- After the first day I listed them Ingalls insisted on a minimum price. If you PM or call me I can do 5% off. Free shipping is included.

Installation was a breeze. It took only about 15 minutes.

It does amplify the noise/vibration from the engine...not too bad though.

As for how it works; It dampened some of the movement from the engine making the 3-4 shift much smoother. I still get a lot of movement in 1st gear and the 1-2 and 2-3 shift, but I havent adjusted it yet. (I didnt have the instructions at the time)
I will adjust it and append this post in the morning.

I got the Stiffy installed and it works great. Without any adjustment from the vendor, I experienced smoother shifting, smoother idle. this thing works. The only thing I noticed is that I will definitely hear the engine more since I am now experiencing a faint whining noise immediately after install. It is not the transfer case, but it could be transmission related as there is less vibration, you may actually hear some other things going on with your car. I had the same thing happen when I had my Weapon R engine dampener. Still, I love this product.

Tai,

This was asked earlier, but I didn't see a reply - What material are the brackets made out of?

There is no info on Ingalls website or on Corsport. Is it just basic sheet metal, or is it actually stainless steel? If it is stainless it could use a good polishing. If it is not, it should be painted or powdercoated to inhibit rust. There really aren't many aftermarket parts out there that do not pay attention to aesthetics, especially an under-hood piece like this. The dampner itself looks beautiful - but the brackets leave a little to be desired.

Also, one more question - are the brackets lazer cut or water jet cut? The edges are extremely sharp and will need a bit of smoothing before they can go on the car.

Thanks! And keep up the great customer service!!
