The ECU+ is a piggyback engine management and data logging solution. It uses digital signal processing technology to adjust fuel and timing, log data, and manage OBD-II information.

Think of the ECU+ as a sort of sup'ed up S-AFC. Plus the equivalent control for your spark timing. Plus the most feature-packed data logging package you've seen. Plus built-in inputs for wideband O2 sensors, EGT probes, and more. Plus full OBD-II awareness and control -- no need for a scan tool! Oh, and you can access all this power using either a laptop PC or a Palm device.

Here's what you get:

Here's a screen shot of the data logger:

Here's tuning the car with a Palm device:

This thing is very, very cool. The feature set is really amazing at this price. (Few systems have all these features at any price!) And it's available in a budget, wire-it-yourself version, or in a completely plug-and-play version for your Evo. (Sorry Evo IX owners, it's not plug-and-play for your car yet.)

Don't take my word for it...you can read lots of enthusiastic reviews over at the ECU+ forum here on EvoM.

Yes you can log Knock voltage.
Along with whatever the factory safety feature in regard to knock you can assign additional task to the ECU (like retard the ignition or add fuel) at any point of the knock voltage you want. This is some good stuff!

Sorry, but no. MOST of our customers are EvoM members! If everybody gets a discount, then it's not a discount, right? If you want, I can make the current price the "sale" price, and make the MSRP higher...

A couple questions:

Does this unit directly control the injectors or ignition timing, or is it a MAF-offset device like the SAFC?

On the low/med/high/WOT columns for fuel/timing adjustments, are those load-based or TPS-based?

Someone mentioned that you could program the timing/fuel consequences of knock voltages. I don't suppose that it can react to the wideband reading and self-adjust, can it?

Thanks,
Rich

Offset.

MAF frequency. The switch-over points are user-adjustable, too.

Not at this time. If there's enough demand for a feature, though, we could add it.
