Thanks for the tip man.

Is the inner part of the inlet where it meets the cat / test pipe actually 3" ID? or is it smaller? Meaning, is it the same size as the stock pipe? or the test pipe?

It necks down to 2.75" just about every aftermarket exhaust does this so it will fit the stock cat. My buddies HKS carbon ti does it and any other one ive seen. the buschur exhaust doesn not neck down but i personally dont like the fitment of it and the sound. anyways i cut the end off catback and replaced it with a 3" section to get rid of that 1/8" wall on each side. I dont think it really made any difference at all.

JIC is a great exhaust - I love mine! Picked mine up from Vivid over a year and a half ago and have had no problems with it. I get compliments on it all the time, and I'm glad I went with the JIC instead of waiting for the HKS.

Here's mine a few weeks after I had it installed:

It's actually a 2.5" neckdown. I had mine cut off also, and welded in a 3" pipe with a new flange. I also noticed no difference whatsoever in performance, but at least now it is a full 3" system.

i've never heard a greddy ti but its a little louder than the HKS carbon TI and being titanium it has a different tone. I've gotten alot of complements on my exhaust note at auto-x races.

Im running the HKS carbon Ti now, pleasant note, on the quiet side IMO but great at full throttle / high rpm. But its only on for 2 photoshoots then Im pulling it off and looking for something else.
