Hey guys,
We will be taking care of the warranty issues first. The customers who submitted warranty paperwork will be given first priority. If you have any questions regarding warranty, please e-mail the following:
gary@gruppe-s.com
daniel@gruppe-s.com
Regarding the V2 Helix EVO downpipe, the V2 downpipe incorporates the following features:
*Increased clearance for ACD cars (over 0.5" of clearance - depends on type of exhaust) to stop heating of ACD
*Increased clearance for oilpans (over 0.5" of clearance) to stop heating of engine oil
*Better clearance over stock lower tie bars - Helix does recommend the use of ~10mm spacers. The MR is the pictures cleared perfectly, but again this will depend on the type of exhaust you are using.
*Slightly thinner wall tubing to maximize exhaust flow and reduce weight.
Thanks
Gary

Awesome! Nice to see you guys are on top of things. Question about the downpipe, it says you have descreased the size of the piping to reduce weight and such, did you do this on the catback too or just the DP for clearance reasons.

Hiya,
For the cat-back the piping diameter was not reduced. There will be a Helix V3 exhaust released in the very near future with options in both 76mm and 90mm piping. Helix has recently switched raw material suppliers, the new EVO downpipe is representative of this - the piping is lighter and stronger (and harder to bend). The Helix V3 exhaust systems will be out in about 3-4 months.
Cheers,
Gary

Hi,
The only V2 EVO downpipe that has ever left the building here in the 'States was the one pictures on the EVO MR. Did you purchase a V2 directly from Japan?
thanks,
Gary

What is the delay of this PM? you promised us long time ago and PMed me that you would replace my catback as soon as you get it. Now you have it.
Anyone got replaced theirs replaced or contacted by Gruppe-S? if so, let me know.
