Exedy Hyper Single Clutch - $750
REDUCED TO $750
I am selling this clutch for my brother who owns a EVO. If interested, email at dan@vividracing.com or call me at 4809663040 x222.
Thanks

$750 Shipped
"I had this clutch on my car for about a month. Shifting improved 10 fold, heel toe downshifting was very easy and a lot of fun. It was never used for drag racing and I never had a chance to go road racing with it. Only mod on my car was a catback so this clutch was a little overkill.
Pressure plate and lightened flywheel are balanced together and disk is almost like new. Disk thickness is 4.25-4.3mm, new it's 4.6mm, minimum is 3.1mm. Pedal feel is a hair stiffer than stock, but has the capability to hold over 500hp.
Here's from Exedy's website:
"The Hyper Single Clutch is engineered to optimize performance for cars that are moderately modified, but do not require the clutch capacity of a multi-plate clutch. Similar to our multi-plate clutches, it has a forged aluminum cover that is anodized purple. The aluminum cover is stiffer than a stamped cover and therefore allows a higher lever ratio to maintain the pedal efforts at a reasonable level. There is no clamp load deflection as found in a pressed metal type cover.
All Hyper Clutches come with a steel flywheel and a 6-puck cerametallic facing, spring center damper disc assembly. The disc is generally smaller and thinner than the OEM disc making for lower inertia and therefore quicker, easier shifting and less wear and tear on the transmission synchros. The higher clamp load and cerametallic friction facings give approximately twice the holding torque of the OEM clutch and generally higher than other single plate clutches.
As with all cerametallic clutches, the street driveability may be marginal due to chattering and harsh engagement characteristics.
An additional feature of the pressure plate is a series of turbine-like, air flow enhancing vanes that keep the clutch cooler under extreme operating conditions to improve wear life"
Why am I selling? Had to convert the car to stock. Other than suspension mods, my engine is stock, even the stock airbox. My original stock clutch was on for about 40,000 miles and the disk was still Ok when I took it off. So I'm not the abusive type when it comes to clutches. Attached are a few pics, PM me your e-mail address for more pics and if you are interested. Thanks"

labor on this job is intensive...7-8 hours is what most shops will charge. If you have a car in AZ, we will give you a smokin deal. If not, drive your car to us!
Also we stock plenty of these brand new as well as Twin Plates!
