What is the construction on your test pipe with the built in resonator? Is it a baffled design or straight thru. I am simply trying to eliminate the raspy tone I acquired after going the big turbo route...

 

Its straight through with perforated holes along the walls that reduce the raspy and tinny sound a straight pipe non-resonated gives you.

Last question: Any idea on speculated performance loss by using a resonated test pipe in replacement of a non-resonated pipe?

I see ZERO noticable difference between the two. It would likely represent less than 1 whp between the two except one would sound crappier.
