on the extreme core, shouldn't the inlet be larger than the outlet?

the hot incoming air is at a higher volume and velocity than the cooled outlet air, so you would need a large tube moreso on the inlet than the outlet.

I'm no physicist, but I do understand the ideal gas law (PV=nRT) and that says that if you lower the temperature and keep the pressure and number of air molecules constant, then you will lower the volume of the air.

Most people are feeding of a 2.5" outlet turbo so 3" isn't necessary. The 3" outlet is setup for those running sheetmetal intakes w/ 75mm where 3" plumbing is needed.

Compressor outlet size is more about packaging and A/R control than anything else. Just because the compressor outlet is 2.5" doen't mean that the optimal pipe size is 2.5".

All I'm saying is that if you are going to have an "extreme" intercooler, it should probably have a 3" inlet.

I'd like to see how that end tank designs fairs against the othe more common ones. Probably no huge difference but it would be nice to see a before and after.

Can these use stock piping? Any cutting of the crash bar or plastic under panel?

Looks like you could spin it around 180 degrees and have it your way. Like Burger King. Prolly not though.

The cores are desgined to fit up w/ stock style piping. Trimming of the crash bar is necessary.

We can also build custom cores/endtanks. We can do cores in 8", 10" and 12" heights.
