The IS Series is a traditional, underhood intake system that is placed in the stock location of the factory air-box system. Each system is built from 6061, T-6 aluminum alloy to ensure the lightest design possible. Every IS system is certified or pending by the California Air Resource Board and backed by Injen Technology’s limited lifetime warranty.

Injen’s Front Mount Intercooler System for the Lancer Evolution VIII made from high quality mandrel-bent 6061 T6 Aluminum, Tig-welded brackets for proper fitment and has a core size of 23 3/4" x 11 3/4" x 3 3/8". This large front mount is capable of 550whp-600whp and yet only has .01psi of boost drop from the stock front mount unit.
