Cobb Turbo Backs! The Wait Is Over!

YES the wait is finally over! COBB has announced the Turbo Back systems for the EVO 8 & 9!

The COBB Tuning Stainless Steel 3” Turbo Back Exhaust is engineered to be everything the Mitsubishi EVO needs in an exhaust system -- a complete, truly engineered system, that offers optimal performance, tasteful looks, and unparalleled durability without a loud and obnoxious exhaust note.

The system is offered with a high flow catalytic converter, or no catalytic converters, in the test pipe section. This is a direct fit replacement to the stock exhaust unit without the need for spacers to lower the factory bracing.
21LBS LIGHTER THEN STOCK!

Cobb Tuning Evolution VIII / IX Downpipe 275.00
SHIPPED!

A turbo downpipe is one of the premier modifications most EVO owners look to upgrade on their vehicle. We engineered our downpipe to fit the specific needs of the EVO chassis. The COBB EVO downpipe fits within the factory chassis bracing without the need for additional spacing. Made of 304 stainless steel mandrel bent tubing, this downpipe can be fitted with the OEM cat back exhaust or our COBB Tuning Test Pipe and performance Cat Back system.

Cobb Tuning Evolution VIII / IX High Flow Cat Pipe 250.00 SHIPPED!

Cobb Tuning Evolution VIII / IX Test Pipe 125.00
A direct bolt in for the EVO 8 and 9, the COBB test pipe is a replacement for the factory catalytic converter. Our test pipe will work with the OEM exhaust as well as any exhaust that would keep the factory catalytic converter.

Cobb Tuning Evolution 8-9 Heat Shield 135.00
The Cobb Tuning Heatshield for the 2003-06 Evolution, redirects the hot air coming off of the exhaust manifold away from the intake. This allows the intake to draw in more cool air, resulting in more power.

ALL ORDERS OVER 200.00 WILL GET FREE SHIPPING IN THE LOWER 48 STATES!

Is that the actual evo cat back pictured? Just wondering because of the angle on the tip.

Any pics of the catted test pipe? Wondering how much it mimics the stock cat.

Yes that is the ACTUAL EVO system.
We put one on our shop EVO over the weekend, and it fits AMAZING! By far the best fitting system we have done yet!

A full write up with images, and sound clip will be up in the next day or 2.

Thanks
Kirill

Then is that the JDM version pictured? I'm very interested but not feeling the angled tip. I'll have to wait and see some pics.

The JDM version is a tad shorter so that it will fit into the JDM rear bumper and not stick out.

Im working on the write up right now. Will be up shortly!

Full 3" from what we could tell. Looked inside the muffler and did not see a single taper.
