Does this mean that the stock Mitsu belt will not fit once these pulleys are installed? Sorry if this is noob question.

There might be enough adjustment on the tensioner where it would fit, but we have only done it with the gates belt we supply so far.

Al - install is not too bad - takes about an hour to do.

BTW I left a message for Dan - I can ship him out a Cusco unit tomorrow if he wants, or an Exedy later on in the week - up to him (Cuscop is, as you would expect, a bit more expensive). Have him call me at the shop!

I had to get the cusco one cause I was without clutch ! Mine did not come with a pilot tool - and I heard the exeddy comes with one - is that right ? (some people just need to have that blue!)

I think he wants the Exeddy one - same thing really - end of week is fine as his car is apart awaiting engine

I will call you next week after my car is running to book an appointment to do the pulleys - I;d like a red set - if possible

My hands are just too big to get in that tight area

Red is no problem - they were out for palting today, so should have them early next week once things calm down from teh holidays.

The Exedy Hyper and Dual disk clutches do not come with alignment tools or throw out bearings - only their less expensive clutches do (aka their Sport Line, though they don't even offer these for the Evo!)....it never made sense to me either and I have made the request they change it many many times already

id be willing to bet if you can get a bunch of people and their money up front, one of the companies out tehre would make a set for the reg lancers, most of them dont see a market for them so they dont make em... apparently they arent looking around when they are out driving... I see like 5-10 lancers a day here in philly alone... and at least 12 on the way to NJ shore! Everyone has one!

Spoke to Unorthodox (they are local to us, and we have ben close with them for a long time now). We would need 50 people ready to commit in order to put the standard Lancer ones into production.
