CBRD- exhaust, 19" te37s, tial, products..

ok guys...

we are doing our own R&D on the X... most people know that we dont build many products.... our evo 8/9 radiators have an amazing reputation... (we have X radiators coming available next week)...

our BBK turbo for the 8/9 is exploding (we are working on some new stock X turbo housing turbo upgrades with Blouch)...

now we built our exhaust and are experimenting with some other things...

more to come, but here are pics...

our exhaust was designed to be quiet (it is) and have an oem style look.... and it turned out great!! built in conjunction with our friends at JMF.

pics of the radiator coming hopefully tomorrow!!

and our new intercooler next week!!

cheers

cb

your car might shut off with that BOV unless you put a very stiff spring in it. if you get on the interstate and go partial throttle and the valve open slightly the car says "NO!" throws a Check Engine for preassure loss or something like that. I have one, i know. good luck!

i think we are pretty experienced with evo's lol...

we were experimenting because of people saying you can run a VTA... the car apparently seems to reference a map reading because it will run smooth at idle with the valve cracked (we tested 7,9,11 and 12 psi springs)... which a maf reference car wont do... running a stiff spring will cause compressor surge... the Tial valve works slightly different than most.. as the big 50mm valve uses just a stiff enough spring to keep the valve shut under vacuum...

again... we "test" things to verify functionality.. until we have flash software... alot of it is theory testing...

it isnt on there for performance.... was on there to be tested...

cheers

Gotta love 19s on Xs! TE37s are still the classic wheel that never goes out of style on any car. Can't wait to see this thing on the 18th!

I agree also on the wheel color, silver is the worst color for volks.

VBand exhaust FTMFW!!! More exhaust makers should use VBand clamps. Car looks great but would be better with some nice flat black TE's....

Anyway, Word up to you Chad.
