Fortune Auto has sourced a thermal barrier from a
local aerospace manufacturer. Our sourced foil is
actually made of 22k gold. capable of reflecting 78%
of all radiant heat with continuous operating temperatures
of 450 degrees centigrade. The material is metalized
polyamide polymer laminated glass cloth with a high
temperature pressure sensitive adhesive.

Typical applications include but are not limited to,
intercooler pipes, intercoolers, intakes, airboxes,
engine covers, coilovers, under trays/floors, seat bottoms,
fire walls and bulkheads. The minimum air gap to heat source
is just 1mm!

I was just thinking about putting a few strips on my valve cover to keep temperatures down. Everything else in my engine bay has or will already be powder/ceramic coated.
