I will have mine soon and will be posting 93 octane numbers with the Green that FP just sent me. Just waiting on the FP4R cams to arrive and we are good to go...

This manifold will make any turbo look like a SuperStar, Green is nice though

No coating? Raw looks sick! Did the green come with studs in the front of the hotside facing towards the radiator?? I can't even remember now but I thought the stock turbo and my FP Red came with studs in the rear of the hotside facing the block...Personally I think this manifold would be a lot easier to install with studs in the rear, threading in bolts in the front isn't an issue...


Edit: I looked up some pics of the stock turbo and saw there are studs in the front facing the radiator...I had a brain fart...

I always mount the turbo to the mani off the car and drop it in place as one unit...

Do you keep the studs in the head that connect to the manifold?

You got it! That's the proper way to install this manifold. Gives you all the room to torque the turbo down then drop it in. But pleanty of customers have done it with the turbo inthe car no problem.

Do you mean the exhaust studs in the head? Yes you do keep those!

Yeah, thats the studs i was reffering to... I left them in the first time i did my turbo install. Just want to make sure i dont have to do anything different for this one

Thats how I usually do it as well...I was just making a suggestion if someone is going to install the manifold with the turbo on the car...especially since the BBK turbos don't come with studs unless you ask for them...
