Does that not expand alot uder boost? I would have to think mostly hard tubing with a couple of silicone unions would be better.

i don't see how this is a good product. The larger the piping the larger your turbo needs to be to push allll that air. This is why the drag turbo cars still have somewhat small piping. That is just HUGE

Why so much for one hose. You can get a set of Sampco intercooler hoses for $239? And that includes everything, from the turbo to the throttle body.

I'm having a bit of a problem understanding the length of this hose.
Does it reach from the intercooler to the throttle body? If that were the case it would be about 4 feet long.
Or does it reach from the first bit of pipe from the intercooler to the throttle body?

thanks

It looks like it goes from the t-body coupler to the last coupler before the cold side of the IC outlet.

ahh, sounds good....but useful info like how many bends and if the distance was shortned would help....since these are factors that could affect turbo spool up and power.
I like how they are not made of metal and are not as suseptable to heat soak like the factory ones or upgraded (auliminum and steel) pipes

it is about 2 feet maybe a little more in length. I just pulled one out and looked at it. it comes with that long hose, and two hoses which are about 6-8" angled hoses. It looks like it goes from the throttle body and connects to some stock hosing on the cold side of the IC. i looked at our evo to see what it would hook up to, but its kind of pointless seeing as how we dont even have the same set up on there anymore. I will check it out when another evo comes in.

thanks

Question?

I am a bit confused. It states that you need to buy a smaller battery to use this product, but in the picture of it installed in the yellow EVO the battery in that car looks stock. Is the battery in fact a smaller battery in the picture? Thank you.

Will it fit with the factory airbox in place or do you have to have an aftermarket intake?
