One way to find out if your BOV is leaking, is do the pressure test. I think this topic has been discussed awhile back in the ENGINE forum. Usually, if you have a boost gauge, you are able to find out if it is holding accurate boost during WOT.

This MR BOV/BPV is constructed w/ aluminum case w/ stiffer springs. The Tomei unit is made out of plastic w/ stiffer springs.

I know I was gonna say, someone beat me to it...welcome back 1st Gen Div. valve! Anyone that gets one of these crush it and it will hold more boost!!! free of charge!!!!!!!!! stick that baby in a clamp and crush that sucker!

 

Anyone try one of these yet? If so, how are the driveability/performance improvements?

 

I know you say you only have 5 but do you still have anyin stock

 

will Satan try and void the warr because of these.... Because i'm sick of changing mine out everytime I go to the dealer

 

 

Perhaps it looks like the 1st gen DV, but it is not. The unit we sell is R&D for EVO MR.

 

More are on their way as we speak. ETA is about 2 weeks!

Is this part stamped with the mitsubishi sign in the casting? If so, it would be great for warranty as it is an actual mitsu part

 

yes this part is a Ralliart part.

 

but does it have a mits. part # on it specifically? need to know because the dealer will try and void warr if there isn't

 

not mits. part #. Ralliart part #.

not sure if MOA will validate this part since MOA do not have Ralliart division in N.A, IIRC.

 

probably not until they start carrying the MR parts....... does this have the same charge back issue the forge dv has?
