I got the Greddy BOV like a week before GruppeS started this thread (d'oh!) otherwise I probably would have gotten this one instead. Honestly though, the Greddy has been great to me so far. If you do the one spring mod, the drivability is awesome (better than stock, believe it or not) but it seems like it takes longer to spool for some reason. Though it's possible I might have a leak somewhere as well... I'd have to double check.

I'd be willing to bet the MR diverter is just as good as stock if not better, plus it's a hell of a lot cheaper than the Greddy. Either way, you can't go wrong.

I got my MR DV on Friday. Installed it on Saturday before I got dynoflashed. Runs good, no sound difference, feels the same as stock. It operates just like the stock plastic piece but it probably will be able to handle more pressure without leaking. I have not pressure tested it or turned up the boost so not sure how much it will hold but it appears alot more substantial than the plastic one. Thanks Cal.

Hey Cal,
IS the bottom of the valve the same patern as a 1G DV with just an adapter bolted on or is it a different shape?

Hello Tim!

Quite honestly, I am not sure what bottom part of 1G DV looks like.. I do know that the adatpor is bolt-on w/ 2 bolts compared w/ the stock and tomei units which are not. Design is somewhat different.

Thanks

Cal

The bottom of the 1g BOV is a diamond shape. Here's a pic:

Nope. You don't need to. The MR BOV comes w/ an adaptor already.

Thanks

had my MR valve installed, simply replaced the stock one. The spring is heavy than the stock for sure. You won't see any performance gain if your stock valve isn't leaking. Sounds the same, drive the same as the stock one.
