Clearance Vivid Racing 3 Piece Pulley Kit
Vivid Racing EVO VIII 3 Piece Pulley Kit

Vivid Racing is proud to announce its new 3 piece pulley set available for your Mitsubishi EVO VIII. The EVO VIII pulleys are CNC machined Aluminum with a HARD anodized coating in either black or polished.
The pulleys are NOT underdriven. They are the same diameter as stock but lightweight. The main pulley saves about 4 pounds over stock. This gives you QUICKER throttle response and more horsepower. They pulleys are not difficult to change on the car either. Check for our installation guide in our TECHNICAL section.
available in black or polished
$100 plus shipping

So there is no dampner on them? I had the unorthodox and only had them on for like 1500 miles. Pulled the engine apart and my main bearings are shot. Im thinking they could be the reason. Dont want to do that agian. But should these work better? If so im sold.
Thanx

I find it funny that the same people who are so opposed to using "non harmonic dampened pulleys" are the ones pushing crap like intakes which are completely worthless on the 4g63 and only cause problems. I have spoken to some tuners in norcal and they have said there are no problems running these being they are not underdriven.. the knock senstivity issue (if there is one) would be and will be corrected during tuning. I still may just run the other two pulleys to be completely safe but at $100.. thats a very good deal.

i agree about the intake. but the knock sensitvity issue is important, b/c while i can be tuned out, tuning it out would also decrease the ACTUAL knock sensitivity, which would make youre car more prone to knocking and decrease the ecu's natural defenses against it
