Yes, it goes a lot deeper in. This knob has already been tested/fitted onto a 6 Speed STI with the same reverse pull-up, so it works just fine.

wish i could see how it fit on an mr already, I'm afraid i won't like the way it sits because of the reverse lockout, how much lower will the knob be?

I always liked these knobs but I'm just curious as to having it in the summer in crazy hot weather.. How hot are these, lol...
