The 'bestest' best price on Hawk----

To introduce myself to the community I have an introductory offer of Hawk Brake pads and/or Disc Brake Australia (DBA) Rotors.

*****Lowest prices on Hawk HPS - guaranteeeeeeeeeedddddd*******
*****Loaded back up on HP+*****

In stock and ready to ship

REAL INVENTORY.

Looks like about 11 sets of EVO HPS in stock right now -

DBA rotors

The EVO ones are off to the right under that turbo.

I'll be adding and editing this thread quite often - I just went ahead and put this right up to get started. I'll add things you want to know like....

Why should I choose xyz brake pad?
What is 'bedding'?
My brakes squeal - what do I do?
I want a street/autox/track pad that makes no noise or dust.

Should I choose ceramic or metallic pads? Whats the difference?

Drilled or slotted or plain?

PS - Congratulations to Marty Grand - He won the latest SCCA T2 National event at VIR on Hawk DTC-70's that I supplied him with. And he is basically a privateer which is amazing.

PM's are welcome!

The parking brake system requires the hat to be made of steel or cast iron - so a 2 piece rear rotor would likely weigh more due to the hardware unless you took weight out of the disc itself - which IMO is undesirable.

IMO 2 piece rear rotors would not offer hugely significant benefits other than appearance unless you race/track day at a fairly high level.

DBA 4000's holding up VERY well on a 3800LB 2005 Legacy GT running DOT R-comps and Carbotech XP-12's.

Rotor Temps around 1200+ degrees F - the wear pattern is perfect so far. I will get a more detailed write up w/ pics later but these are the real deal.
