i decided the hell with the sti after all.. and went after my original dream car- an '04 loaded evo VIII. i'm glad to finally be a real evo owner!!

thanks for the warm welcome guys, im so happy to be part of the evo community.

im really glad i ended up not buying the sti. the evo has been my dream since '99 (before it even came stateside) and i just went with my first instinct.

booost- i wish i could help you, but i absolutely adore the leather. wait and see what i do with the interior in the coming months.

i was going to keep from modifying the engine for awhile so i could preserve the warranty. i might just do a catback for now after i upgrade some trimmings on the interior. anyone know if the evo could accept VR CE28n's in 18"X9.0" without any rubbing?

PS- was anyone on this board heading east on route 78 in new jersey with a yellow evo/black carbon hood? you waved at me and i just wanted to holla back.

 

i did lol...j/k...i was in 78 as well but i drive a yellow OZ haha...which part of NJ agian? i'm from morris county.

Ralliart- I know we were on opposite sides of 78, but I think we were technically in Summit when we passed each other. It was definitely an Evo- the factory wing gave it away.

OZ's are great cars. A bunch of us should get together and setup a meet or something. i think there are a bunch of lancers in our area.

PGMike- I love the yellow, but i know its not everyones cup of tea. Definitely gotten lots of looks and compliments with it sofar. I wouldnt trade it for the world. Too bad cops love it as much as i do. Lucky for me, half of my family is in law enforcement. Regardless, I'll just have to behave myself!!

Anyone have any answers on the CE28 question i posted above?
