That's because EG/EK hatches are awesome project cars.
Their engine "swapability" with other cars, like the integra (b18c1 or c5) or the civic si (b16a), can make it an instant performer. I believe the EG hatch weighs in around 2k lbs which is a great starting point. Also, the ITR chassis is based off the EG chassis, so it deserves its due credit as for as a workable platform.
In the right hands, an EG/EK hatch can be very hard to touch around a road course.
The problem is that the "swapability" has increased theft exponentially and everyone and their mother is doing it.
Another thing, I would like to see your OZ match up against a modified EG/EK hatch (engine swap of course). Let alone, have you driven one? I think it'll open your mind up and you'll be "amazed" by one as well.

my brothers hatch puts down 320 to the wheels. it weighs less than 2600 pounds. hatches are no joke . go watch f&f and leave us big kids alone . i have video of hatches killing modded vipers . you go ahead and not be amazed. so how much would your super cool evo conversion cost? about 25 times that of a type r swap. and you obviously have never been in or seen a nsx. you can get one for like 25k now. and a new one is 90k buddy not 70k..... my lightly modded sti puts down 320awhp right now, he ****ing kills me everytime. ...it even handles AMAZINGLY. not as good as me or evo, but pretty damn close. in a car he paid 4k for

I still am not fully understanding your non-english paragraph, but I'll comment anyway. I think you are too ignorant to understand the potential of other cars. Specifically hondas.
Civics AREN'T fried rice, no matter what. It's all about who's driving the car and their intentions. Thanks for playing.
