Almost as good:

Was by my dealer for service parts and a salesman rubbernecks the car real hard. He had something lame to say about the wheels or some-such. Looks inside and says something else - clear he knows nothing about the Evo. I explain it a bit to him and he tells me he was just selling Subaru's before coming to this dealership. I told him this thing was neck-and-neck with the STi and better than an STi on a roadcourse. He crapped and couldn't keep himself away.

Dealership salespeople are so ignorantly lame...

So really, why is it that if it has a big wing, it has to be an STI and not an Evo? Do Subaru's get mistaken for Evo's?

I'm trying to figure out if Subaru has just captured the market so well that ppl assume big wing=Subaru. I guess Mitsubishi doesn't aggressively market the Evolution unlike the WRX/STI.

Yeah we were in BG visiting Henry. I'm not sure what turbo I'll be going with again. I'm really quite sick of the big turbos so much so that I'll probably be going with a stock-ish turbo. I love the response too much.

Corey, yeah we'll give you a buzz sometime soon hopefully.

Yeah you're were right Aussie.

But that's because you own one!

Nice try.

Got it back together yet?

Was the black Evo you were looking at sporting gold wheels? If so, that's Tim F., a buddy of mine.

ive got a gt30r on going on soon, il let you know the spool time. you should try a gt3228 or something like that. its smaller than mine , very fast spool, but still large enough to out blow the stocker by a long shot. its a "drift master's" turbo. my freind is putting it on his rb25det.

Lol, this is hysterical...my car has been mistaken for a subaru (mostly by girls thou, ones that really dont follow cars) and a IS a couple of times. But my favorite is when people have no idea what kind of car it is. The cool thing thou is when u get that person who knows what it is and u would have never though in a million years that they would..ne of u ever get that?

wow, what an awesome car. That bumper and hood go really well together. I also like all the CF with the black headlights.

Maybe they dont know what it is because you no longer have anything on the car that labels it as a mitsu. No tri star emblems, just evolution on the back.

Wow, again, nice car, one of the best WW I've ever seen. Seems like a lotta guys with WW like to go with the gialla.

You're right. It's mostly the girls that get it wrong. But they always seem to know everything about Audi's and BMW's.

I've only been mistaken for an IS300 once. That, I don't mind.

As much.

[\QUOTE]

Yeah somehow I seem to have overlooked the fact that I have no Mitsu emblems at all on the car. I guess I figured the Evolution badging would be sufficient. So should I run the Tri-Star emblem on the trunk? I think it might be quite tacky. I dunno.
