hey jonny just heard of lamin-x protective film. i think if you got the yellow or mild yellow it would tint it just right. plus it would protect the lens from scratches. i know its kinda ghetto, but it would work! plus if you got tired of the yellow , you could just peal it off

I was thinking about this, but I have the film for my headlights on my Jolf and it is way too thick to use for this application. Thanks for the insight though Speaking of which do you know where I can get the lamin-x kit for the Evo?

i'm steppin in here...he posted a pic of them. Possibly they are tinted orange...but somehow i doubt it, they look just like the factory sidemarkers. Maybe they are from the protege, if so that'd be sweet and id def pick up a set. Who the **** would buy generic APC sidemarkers...i know it was just a bash, but F'in A, we drive 30k + cars. If people are gonna buy **** like that and throw it on their car, they'd be better off buying a focus or something. I'm gonna check into the protege comment, cuz i'd like to have some amber markers!

I believe I saw those amber side markers you are looking for but I can't remember where. It was on some JDM sites. I'll try and find it as soon as I can, if I can.

MK4 forum sucks. 1.8t technical only. The only reason I have the swap is I got hit and figured why the hell not if its free, and because it was before everyone and their mother had it done.

Haha, you guys are crazy. What difference does it make if you got it off of a protege or from a cheap *** company? Why don't you get some sidemarkers off of a ferrari since your car deserved it. Better yet, paint the god damn markers and be done with it, that way, you know its a good quality light and housing, and you can always just redo the paint if it goes bad or scrape it off if you dont like it anymore?

How did this turn into a flame war and how did I get own3d?

Sweet Si by the way...
