Dear god, make it stop.

The only thing that is going to come out of a loud system outside of the car, is more negative attention.

Just aksing for; vandalism, cops, theft...etc

Um, not sure how to take all that crap out, but why would you want to anyway. More sound will be able to get out, but a lot more will also come in (road noise, wind noise, exhaust) and will totally ruin your sound quality. I have a kicker solobaric L7 in my car and I can't hear it from the outside. I wish I could, but it should be all about the sound quality in your car, not how well you can impress people with your thumpin bass.

If you wanna be able to hear it from the outside, get 2 10" or 12" kicker solobarics (square) in your trunk and run about 500 watts to each. You'll be rattling your house windows and setting off car alarms in no time.

damn hater... i'm sure your buschur 3'' turbo back with no cat makes a wee bit more sound than 2 12s will ever make. Personally i'd take noise pollution over hydrocarbon pollution any day so go back to your hole

to answer the original posters question... isn't not hearing anything outside the car a good thing?? you want the sweet buzz of the license plate frame on the rear bumper? i suppose you could just rip out everything in the trunk down the the metal... or see if 2 12'' or 13'' jl w7's have that same problem

You are an idiot. If you think an exhaust is louder than 2 12's then you've heard some ****ty systems. I've got a few friends with 2 12's in the back and they will seriously blow your doors off. If you put a gatorade bottle on the roof it will jump off.

if the sound "leaks" out, then obviously it will sound like crap. there will be rattling; cheap, crappy, tinny rattling. that's it. if you can't hear the subs outside right now, then clearly they aren't strong enough to make much of an impact (or your amp is too weak). what you should do, if you want louder bass, is to dynamat the crap out of your trunk and get larger subs and stronger. then you won't hear the rattles, but only bass

They got JL subs/amps or kicker subs. I don't get the gatorade joke?

easy, cut the body panels off the back of the car... then you can not only HEAR the bass, but you can see the subs too!!!
