got my sunroof tinted darker

it was a real pain to drive on a sunny day, cause the stock tint just didnt cut it. so i had it tinted with 5 percent true grey. now i have no trouble with a blazing sun overhead

I heard that your not supposed to tint the sunroof, the original factory tinting was within the glass and aftermarket tinting would cause it to absorb and trap more heat that would eventually make it crack, and i like runon sentenses and can't spell for sh*t.

I got few friends who tint their sunroof. Not an Evo but a Toyota Landcrusir and no problems until now ......... But I still think it is stupid to tint your sunroof.. I though it was called a sunroof not a shade roof... <-- I am cool.. lol..

Anyway burningmoney97, congragulations enjoy it before it fades out..

hope you used metalic tint. i just got my car tinted 2 days ago. i thought of doing the sunroof, but it's dark enough. what i really want o do later on is use clear, yes clear tint on the windshield. it will block all the uv so i don't need to use the sunshade on the front window. hard to find that tint, and people to do it for you though.

I did something similar on my 00 Galant. Tinted the windshield (40% Semi Reflective)

The (Rear in 5% Smoke) and the others in (35% Smoke) so it wasn't so obvious.

It looked really clean, Kept the car real cool in the summer time and you couldn't see who was driving the car at any time. At night it was dark like a Dungeon. Although It was allot of trouble to get it inspected, but well worth it to me.

Thinking of doing it again.
