hey, just wondering how you installed your horns? The lancer only has 1 wire plug for each horn but the PIAA's require two connectors.

btw, sorry for bringing this back from the dead.

I used to use fiamm air horns. Problem is, even with the enclosed one, there's the comrpessor. Still a mechanical piece. Anyway, I'm sure the PIAAs are fine, but now I have Hella supertones. Those fiamms, BTW, were stated as 127 db. That's loud. (and the db scale is logarithmic).

The stock horn is definetly weak. Those will certainly scare some people.

damn...yeah these mount to the stock locations fine but the stock horns only use 1 connector each but the PIAA's and the Mitsubas that i have both need 2 connectors for each horn. Theres instructions on the back of the boxes but i don't know a damn about reading japanese.

bosch would most likely have one. They have horns in every class. Luxury, Sports, Exotic, Rally, Econo.

if all else fails go get a junked ferrari horn which will cost you a pretty penny. so, do it as a last resort.

Just an update. Tunershops.com are slower than molasses in the middle of winter. I ordered my PIAA sports horns over a week ago and my order status has just now reached "in process". They haven't even supplied me with a shipping number. Regardless has anyone else installed these? at the fact that those Ferrari horns ended up selling for like $81

did you get just basic PIAA horns? snail type? if you've got a lancer i can make a how to its pretty easy...if its an evo then that'll be a different story because the horns are mounted somewhere else. sorry.
